Job summary

WTW is seeking an AI Economics & FinOps Lead to maximise value from AI and GenAI spend within the ICT line of business, with hybrid work and in-office presence in Reigate two days per week.

You will govern token-based consumption, lead cost-tracking dashboards and collaborate with Engineering, Product and Finance to align cloud and AI usage with business goals, delivering actionable insights and budgeting support.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in AI/ML or GenAI cost management and FinOps.
• Azure experience strongly preferred for cloud cost governance.
• Experience translating cloud and AI consumption data into accountable actions.

Responsibilities

• Advise teams on AI tool usage and token economics, leading governance groups.
• Drive cost efficiency across cloud and AI spend and report ROI.
• Evolve FinOps model for AI and cloud, with clear standards and accountability.
• Improve cost allocation, tagging, showback/chargeback, and ownership.
• Partner with Engineering, Product and Finance to align usage with business goals.
• Develop training and documentation to empower teams to manage cloud resources.
