Job summary

Reuters Events is seeking a Business Development Manager to sell sponsorships across our flagship AI and Technology portfolio, partnering with global brands and securing high-value packages at our AI leadership events.

You will collaborate with senior leaders across technology, data and AI, shaping partnerships and driving revenue while representing the Reuters brand. This role offers a hybrid work model in London.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in event or digital media or content marketing sales, selling high value sponsor packages or B2B advertising solutions.
• Experience developing new business via proactive outreach and converting prospects into revenue.
• Ability to use technical solutions (including AI tools) in day-to-day work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to represent the Reuters brand to senior leaders and C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Sell tailored sponsorship packages to a variety of global brands across our AI portfolio.
• Engage with senior leaders across technology, data and AI to discuss strategic partnership opportunities at flagship global AI events.
• Craft outreach and value propositions with strong written communication.
• Take a consultative approach, aligning client goals with sponsorship solutions.
• Immerse yourself in market trends across AI strategy, enterprise transformation, data governance, automation, emerging technologies and executive leadership priorities.
• Collaborate closely with the Conference Production team to shape event audiences and maximise the commercial success of our AI events.
