Job summary

SiriusPoint in London is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to drive integration design and optimization across our IT landscape. You will translate business needs into architecture, guide vendors, and champion AI-driven workflow improvements.

The role reports to the Chief Architect & Delivery Officer and requires deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data governance, security controls, and modern software architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in IT solution development disciplines (architecture, infrastructure, devops, etc.).
• Strong AWS experience with serverless & containerized workloads; Azure plus is a plus.
• Experience across multi-cloud governance, SaaS/IaaS/PaaS, APIs, DevOps and microservices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint and documents design work.
• Leads evaluation, design and analysis for solutions architecture across business applications and technologies.
• Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and assesses relevance to business objectives.
• Ensures solutions comply with EA standards, security policies, data governance, audits, and financial controls.
• Documents and improves data flows between systems and reporting tools for accuracy and transparency.
• Identifies opportunities for AI, ML, and automation to improve efficiency and insights.
• Collaborates with business, IT teams and vendors to implement architectural solutions.
• Continuously analyzes the IT environment to identify improvement opportunities.
