Job summary

Joybuy, JD.com’s European full-category online retail brand, is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions powering Joybuy. You will work at the intersection of ML, engineering, and product to build intelligent systems for personalisation, search, recommendations, and content understanding at scale.

Based in Green Park, London, you will own end-to-end ML lifecycle from problem framing to training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, or related field.
• 3+ years building ML models in production.
• Proficient Python and ML frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps.
• Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI/ML models and pipelines for Joybuy's international platform, covering personalisation, recommendations, NLP/LLM, CV, and fraud detection.
• Own end-to-end ML lifecycle from problem framing to training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration in production.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and data teams across Europe and China to align AI capabilities with business goals.
• Research, adopt, and promote state-of-the-art AI/ML technologies and methodologies for roadmap and architecture.
• Build and optimise ML infrastructure and tooling, including feature stores, model serving platforms, CI/CD pipelines for ML.
• Work onsite in Green Park, London.
