Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to turn emerging AI technologies into practical solutions that deliver real business value.

You will design, build and deploy AI-powered products using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, agentic AI and large language models, shaping how AI is adopted across the organisation within a hybrid working model across the UK estate, including London, Swindon and Northampton offices.

Job description

We're looking for a hands-on AI Engineer who is passionate about turning emerging AI technologies into practical solutions that deliver real business value.

Working within our Customer Operations team, you'll design, build and deploy AI-powered products using the latest technologies, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, agentic AI and large language models. From developing intelligent applications that enhance customer and colleague experiences to creating reusable AI frameworks and best practices, you'll play a key role in shaping how AI is adopted across the organisation.
