Job summary

Enablis is building a genuinely AI-native consultancy, embedding AI into how we deliver, operate and grow. This hands-on AI Engineering role at Consultant level works with our CTO and leadership to advance our internal AI platform and build client AI solutions.

You’ll contribute to RAG pipelines, agent architectures, LLM integrations and tooling while shaping internal AI capabilities and upskilling programs for the team.

Qualifications

• Strong software eng foundations with testing/CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with large language models and AI integration.
• Experience shipping AI-powered features to production.
• Consultancy or client-facing interest.
• Cloud experience, AWS preferred.
• Open-source contributions or notable AI projects.
• Proficiency in ≥2 programming languages.
• Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of our internal AI platform.
• Build AI-powered client solutions: RAG pipelines, agent architectures, LLM integrations.
• Design internal AI tooling to accelerate delivery.
• Support upskilling programmes with technical AI knowledge sharing.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging AI tools, frameworks and protocols.

At Enablis, we deliver complex, high-impact technology transformation. We're now building a genuinely AI-native consultancy, not just experimenting, but embedding AI into how we deliver, how we operate, and how we grow.

We already have a live internal AI platform in development and a growing client pipeline. This hire will play a key part in taking that capability forward.

The Role

This is a hands-on AI Engineering role at Consultant level. You'll work alongside our CTO and engineering leadership, contributing to our internal AI platform and helping build AI solutions for client projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Contributing to the development of our internal AI platform
• Building AI-powered client solutions: RAG pipelines, agent architectures, LLM integrations, protocol-driven tooling
• Helping design internal AI tooling to accelerate delivery
• Supporting our upskilling programme with technical AI knowledge-sharing
• Keeping across emerging AI tools, frameworks and protocols
• Helping drive pragmatic AI adoption across engineering teams

What We're Looking For

• Strong software engineering foundations (clean code, testing, CI/CD, production mindset)
• Hands-on experience with LLMs - this can come from personal projects, not just professional work (API integrations, prompt engineering, agent workflows, RAG systems)
• Proficiency in 2+ modern programming languages
• Awareness of evolving AI tooling (MCP, A2A, or similar)
• Some consultancy or client-facing experience, or a strong interest in moving into it
• Vector databases, embeddings, fine-tuning
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)Open-source contributions or visible AI side projects
• Experience shipping AI-powered features to production
