Job summary

Lynx Recruitment is seeking an experienced AI-focused engineering professional to lead the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge AI-powered solutions for enterprise clients.

This role combines Generative AI, software engineering, product development, cloud architecture, and technical consulting to shape AI strategy and deliver scalable production-grade AI solutions across multiple cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2:1 degree classification (or international equivalent).
• Strong consulting background and experience shaping AI strategy.

Responsibilities

• Research, evaluate, and implement latest developments in Generative AI and ML.
• Design and develop AI-powered prototypes, PoCs, and production solutions.
• Build and deploy solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, AI agents, and other emerging AI technologies.
• Assess and integrate leading AI platforms and models including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, and Azure AI services.
• Drive innovation and establish best practices for AI engineering across the organisation.
• Work directly with clients to understand business challenges and identify AI opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership and trusted advisory services throughout project lifecycles.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
• Support bid responses, client workshops, discovery sessions, and pre-sales activities.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Establish and maintain SDLC best practices, CI/CD processes, testing frameworks, and deployment standards.
• Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, scalable, and production-ready.
• Architect and deliver solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Design cloud-native AI platforms and deployment architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code, automated deployment pipelines, and platform observability.
• Support clients in designing scalable AI and data platforms.
• Mentor and coach engineers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Proven background within an IT consultancy, technology consultancy, or professional services organisation.
• Extensive software engineering and product development experience.
• Strong Python development skills and experience with modern engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience building applications using LLMs, RAG frameworks, vector databases, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing and delivering cloud-native solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Exposure to data engineering, MLOps, and AI platform engineering.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale clients.
• Knowledge of modern AI trends including AI Agents, Agentic Workflows, Multi-Agent Systems, Reinforcement Learning, and Explainable AI.
• Experience supporting technical sales and client proposal activities.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or another technology-related discipline.
• Minimum 2:1 degree classification (or international equivalent).
