Job summary

Circle Recruitment in Cardiff is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of advanced AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, guide technical direction, and mentor a growing team of engineers.

This hybrid role is based in central Cardiff with a starting salary of up to £45,000 - £53,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AI engineering or software engineering (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript) with libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Experience with RAG and LLM-based solutions.
• Solid understanding of AI architectures and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance principles from a development perspective.
• Proven mentoring and team development capabilities.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will lead on the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, guide technical direction, and mentor a growing team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

This is a hybrid role in central Cardiff, with a starting salary of up to £45,000 - £53,000 depending on experience.
