Ageas, a leading UK insurer, is hiring an AI Engineer to advance GenAI use cases across the business. Based in London with hybrid working, you will join a growing Data Science & AI team to deploy scalable AI solutions for frontline staff.

You’ll work with DevOps, data engineers and developers to productionise AI services in AWS, evaluate third‑party LLMs, and help evolve our ML stack with MLOps, CI/CD and the Python toolkit.

Qualifications

• Experience applying, researching and developing NLP models, including prompt engineering in a commercial setting.
• Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders to design and deliver ML solutions.
• Proficiency with Python data science stack and version control (Git).

Responsabilités

• Identify high-value GenAI use cases with stakeholders.
• Deploy scalable AI solutions across the business with the DS & AI team.
• Collaborate with DevOps, data engineers, developers, testers and Infosec to productionise AI services in AWS.
• Enhance the tech stack including MLOps, CI/CD, UI and our AI Python library.
• Assess third‑party GenAI and LLM technologies for feasibility and cost–benefit.

Main Responsibilities as an AI Engineer:

• Partnerwith stakeholders to understand processes and data, identifying high‑valueGenAI use cases.
• Workwithin the Data Science & AI team to deploy scalable, cutting‑edge AIsolutions across the business.
• Collaboratein a cross‑functional squad (DevOps, data engineers, developers, testers,Infosec) to productionise AI services in AWS.
• Enhanceand innovate esure’s tech stack, including MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, UI, andour AI Python library.
• Assessthird‑party GenAI and LLM technologies to determine feasibility andcost–benefit.

Skills and experience you need as an AI Engineer:

• Provenexperience applying, researching and developing NLP models, includingprompt engineering and fine‑tuning LLMs in a commercial setting.
• Skilledat working with non‑technical stakeholders to scope, design and delivereffective ML solutions.
• Insert skills.Proficientwith the Python data science stack (pandas, scikit‑learn, Jupyter, etc.)and version control tools like Git.
• Exposureto LLMOps, model monitoring, CI/CD and related technologies (Docker, MLflow,Kubernetes, FastAPI, etc.).
• Knowledgeand working experience of AGILE methodologies.
