Ageas UK is recruiting an AI Engineer to help shape the future of insurance by driving innovative GenAI initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders, deploy scalable AI solutions in the Data Science & AI team, and work within a cross‑functional squad to productionise services in AWS.

The role requires hands‑on NLP/LLM work, Python data science proficiency, and experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and related tools. A strong AGILE background is desirable. Flexible working within the UK is provided.

• Skilled at working with non-technical stakeholders to scope, design and deliver ML solutions.
• Proficient with Python data science stack (pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter) and Git.

Salary Range: Up to £70,000 Dependent on Experience

Location: London - Hybrid

Main Responsibilities as an AI Engineer:

• Partner with stakeholders to understand processes and data, identifying high‑value GenAI use cases.
• Work within the Data Science & AI team to deploy scalable, cutting‑edge AI solutions across the business.
• Collaborate in a cross‑functional squad (DevOps, data engineers, developers, testers, Infosec) to productionise AI services in AWS.
• Enhance and innovate esure’s tech stack, including MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, UI, and our AI Python library.
• Assess third‑party GenAI and LLM technologies to determine feasibility and cost–benefit.

Skills and experience you need as an AI Engineer:

• Proven experience applying, researching and developing NLP models, including prompt engineering and fine‑tuning LLMs in a commercial setting.
• Skilled at working with non‑technical stakeholders to scope, design and deliver effective ML solutions.
• Insert skills.Proficient with the Python data science stack (pandas, scikit‑learn, Jupyter, etc.) and version control tools like Git.
• Exposure to LLMOps, model monitoring, CI/CD and related technologies (Docker, MLflow, Kubernetes, FastAPI, etc.).
• Knowledge and working experience of AGILE methodologies.
