Job summary

VirtueTech Recruitment Group partnered with a leading wealth management firm to recruit an Azure-focused AI Solutions Engineer. The role centers on leading retrieval-augmented generation initiatives and owning stakeholder communication across business lines.

The mid-level engineer will move prototypes into production and drive AI-enabled changes across risk, compliance, and cybersecurity teams, with strong business-facing communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in software engineering, solutions engineering or relevant role.
• Exposure to commercially working with RAG, GenAI and LLM APIs is essential.
• Experience with testing in AI environments and best practices.
• Bonus if experience comes from Azure Cloud environments.
• Understanding of financial services regulations and compliance.

Job description

I am partnered with one of the leading wealth management firms who are looking for an Azure focused AI Solutions Engineer who can lead their further business development of retrieval-augmented generation whilst having ownership of stakeholder communication.

This is a very unique opportunity for a mid level engineer who has been playing around with RAG, AI assisted development, Azure OpenAPI and more in order to achieve business relevant solutions. It is important you would have done this whilst in a commercial setting as it showcases ability to know where AI should be used, how it should be implemented and which business areas would develop most from it.

It is also an opportunity to be at the forefront of the AI revolution at this firm with the work including taking prototypes into production and communicating with the business in order to achieve this seamlessly across its' many departments and products.

These products include working across their portfolio desks, risk, compliance, cybersecurity and everything else in between.

Skills/Requirements:

• 3+ years experience in software engineering, solutions engineering or any relevant role
• Exposure to commercially working with RAG, GenAI and LLM APIs is essential
• Experience with testing in AI environments and best practices around this
• It is a bonus if the experience comes from Azure Cloud environments
• Understanding of financial services including its' regulations and compliance aspects
• Looking to offer between 60-100k across 2 roles with different experience levels + Bonus + Benefits
• 3 days hybrid in Central London
