Job summary

Xcede in London is seeking an AI enablement specialist on a 12-month fixed-term contract to elevate AI capability across a large regulated consumer function, with hybrid work and two days in the central London office.

You will run hands-on workshops, coach engineers and product teams, and shape governance and data classification from day one. Focus will include RAG, prompt engineering, API integration, and platform adoption.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data/ML engineering with a move into enablement or transformation.
• Experience coaching teams to deploy agents or retrieval pipelines.
• Strong prompt engineering depth across prompts, output, and evaluation.
• Knowledge of at least one low-code automation platform.
• Understanding of REST, OAuth and SSO and data movement between systems.
• Interest in governance and compliance in AI use.

Responsibilities

• Run practical, hands-on workshops for engineers and product teams.
• Coach teams through the full lifecycle from use-case to working solution.
• Triage use cases and determine quick wins vs. architecture-led work.
• Create training material on RAG, agent design, prompt engineering, and API integration.
• Integrate governance, security and data classification into design conversations.
• Identify gaps in processes or tooling and coordinate with platform owners.
• Spend roughly one fifth of time on coding assistant adoption across engineering.
