Job summary

Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group is seeking a Data Analyst to join the investment team and help build an AI-enabled research and decision-support platform. You will work with portfolio managers, analysts and engineers to connect research, investment and portfolio data.

You will develop data strategies, build pipelines and models, and use Python/SQL to prototype AI-driven dashboards for investment professionals. The role is hybrid with a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• Builder mindset with rapid development and iteration.
• Strong Python and SQL programming for data projects.
• Passion for AI, including LLMs and AI agents.
• Ability to learn new technologies and tackle challenges independently.
• Experience with Microsoft data and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute investment data strategies to improve access and quality of data.
• Build data pipelines, databases and models across platforms.
• Use Python, SQL to automate data processing and analytics.
• Collaborate with data, technology and AI teams to integrate data sources.
• Design AI-powered tools to enable access to research and notes.
• Prototype and refine solutions based on user feedback for production use.
• Partner with portfolio managers to translate needs into technical solutions.
