Cisco ThousandEyes is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design and operate large-scale distributed systems that process vast telemetry data. You will use AI tooling to write high-quality code and automate releases, helping reduce operational costs and scale across regions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency writing production-quality code in Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling (Terraform).
• Experience leveraging AI to reduce toil and improve efficiency.
• GNU/Linux administration and networking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate large-scale distributed systems for the ThousandEyes platform.
• Use AI tooling to enable fast, reliable releases and automate toil.
• Evaluate scalability, resiliency, performance, and security; test HA and DR.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with development teams to meet SLAs and improve tooling.
