Phillip Nova Pte Ltd is seeking a Risk Analyst (Data, Automation & AI) to join its Middle Office risk management team in a live trading environment. The role focuses on applying automation and AI to improve risk operations, with exposure across futures, options, FX, CFDs and equities.

Ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about technology and financial markets, you will implement AI-driven workflows, maintain internal tools, and collaborate with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Strong interest in automation, AI, technology, and financial markets.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering, automation platforms, or machine learning concepts is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Curious mindset with a willingness to learn and experiment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand Financial Markets & Risk Operations: gain hands-on exposure to risk monitoring and trading operations workflows.
• Build Automation Solutions: design and develop solutions to replace Excel- and VBA-based processes; automate repetitive tasks and workflows using Python and modern automation tools.
• Apply AI to Real Business Problems: explore and implement practical AI solutions to improve efficiency and controls; develop AI-assisted workflows and monitoring systems.
• Enhance Internal Systems: maintain and improve internally developed tools and applications; troubleshoot and optimize existing automation programs.
• Drive Innovation: identify opportunities where technology can create meaningful business value and participate in data analytics, automation, and AI adoption.
