Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a skilled quantitative engineer to develop and deploy enterprise-scale models for multi-asset allocation. You will work with PMs and researchers to bring ideas from notebook to production, including signals, CMAs, optimization, and attribution, while building and maintaining the research platform and data layer.

The role emphasizes AI-augmented engineering, strong SDLC discipline, rigorous testing, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Built industrial-scale enterprise-quality quantitative models based on PM specs.
• Deployed models to production at substantial scale and monitored performance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with asset allocation PMs and researchers to take ideas from notebook to production: signals, CMAs, optimization, and attribution.
• Build and extend the team's research platform including data ingestion, back testing, scenario analysis, and reporting.
• Own the multi-asset data layer with quality control trusted by PMs.
• Write production code with focus on reliability, testing and observability.
