Job summary

Momence, part of Xplor Technologies, is seeking a Quality Engineer to elevate automated testing and AI-driven testing solutions. You will own test development, dive into products, and collaborate with global teams to improve software quality and customer experiences.

You will design and maintain automated tests with Jest, Detox, and Playwright, while exploring new tools and AI-enabled testing approaches to drive robustness and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent working experience.
• Experience as an Automation Engineer, preferably with AI and large-scale software development projects.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with calling OpenAI APIs.
• Strong understanding of AI principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling collaboration and mentoring.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Fluency in English, as we use it daily.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Jest, Detox and Playwright.
• Ensure robustness, reliability, and maintainability of automated tests.
• Gain in-depth understanding of products to identify automation opportunities.
• Continuously explore new tools and methodologies to enhance testing.
• Collaborate with product engineers, the product manager, and other stakeholders on testing strategies.
• Contribute to making application code more testable and robust.
• Set up, deploy, and manage infrastructure for automated testing.
• Analyze test results to identify issues and provide actionable insights.
• Lead testing strategy and ownership of end-to-end automated test development.
• Influence AI-driven features for robust, scalable, maintainable software.
• Assist with AI-driven solutions during development and improve maintainability.
