Job summary

Spectrum Control in Great Yarmouth is seeking a Production Engineering & Test Manager to lead and develop the Engineering & Test function, delivering a strategic plan, lean transformation, and AI-enabled productivity gains. You will ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective engineering support to manufacturing while safeguarding product integrity and operational excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, AS9100 experience, and the ability to drive improvements across production flow,

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
• Experience leading engineering teams in regulated environments is preferred.
• AS9100 awareness and aerospace/defence context is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Engineering & Test function to deliver safety, quality, and cost KPIs.
• Design and optimise production flow lines to improve throughput and reduce waste.
• Champion AI-enabled analytics and digital transformation within Production Engineering and Test.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies and AS9100 requirements and support audits.
• Provide technical leadership across product lifecycle and drive capital projects.
