Job summary

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) is seeking a lead for the Data & AI Process Reinvention capability. You will mentor a small team and partner with business stakeholders to redesign processes before automation, delivering measurable efficiency gains and scalable outcomes.

The role involves end-to-end transformation, hypothesis-driven diagnostics, and a structured approach to embedding data, automation and AI across priority areas. Hybrid working model in London.

Qualifications

• Experience in process transformation in financial services or asset management.
• Strong process mapping and future-state design skills with a structured problem-solving approach.
• Understanding of how redesign links to data, automation and AI, and practical use cases.
• Proven ability to lead workshops and engage stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Ability to prioritise multiple initiatives delivering measurable business value.
• Excellent communication, translating complex problems into clear recommendations.
• Experience across operating model, process and technology change initiatives.
• Exposure to process mining, automation or AI-enabled transformation is beneficial.
• Coaching or team leadership experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end process transformation initiatives from discovery to adoption.
• Diagnose current-state processes, identify inefficiencies and root causes, and design scalable future-state solutions.
• Apply structured problem-solving techniques to drive actionable outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data, automation and AI with scalable solutions.
• Challenge existing ways of working and ensure processes are redesigned before automation.
• Recommend how transformations deliver measurable business benefits like efficiency and scalability.
• Facilitate workshops and align stakeholders on problems, solutions and outcomes.
• Communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build and manage a pipeline of process improvement opportunities prioritized by value and feasibility.
• Develop repeatable methods, standards and best practices for process reinvention.
