Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Pricing & Reinsurance Manager to shape pricing, reinsurance and proposition strategy. You will influence decisions, lead a team and build strong partnerships, using data and analytics to drive commercial performance.

This hybrid role collaborates with underwriting and proposition teams to deliver measurable growth and customer outcomes, leveraging AI-enabled pricing insights to optimise pricing decisions and drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong actuarial background, ideally in Protection, Life Insurance or Retail Financial Services.
• Senior-level experience in pricing, commercial strategy, actuarial or reinsurance roles.
• Strong commercial judgement and understanding of how pricing supports growth, profitability and customer outcomes.
• Ability to translate complex customer, market and analytical insight into clear action.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop our Pricing & Reinsurance team.
• Set pricing strategy across intermediary and bancassurance propositions, balancing customer value, competitiveness and sustainable returns.
• Use customer, market and competitor insight to identify opportunities for growth.
• Lead reinsurance relationships and negotiations, making effective decisions on risk transfer and self-insurance.
• Work with Underwriting Strategy and Proposition teams to deliver strong customer and commercial outcomes.
