National Grid plc, through NGED, is seeking a Procurement Pricing Manager to drive pricing strategy across major electricity distribution categories and to develop AI-enabled pricing tools for cost transparency. The role collaborates with Category Managers, Finance, and Supply Chain to turn market data into strategic decisions.

You will shape pricing models, cost assurance methodologies and market intelligence tools to maximise value for customers and shareholders, with a hybrid working setup

Qualifications

• Commercial procurement experience in infrastructure/utilities or related sectors.
• Strong pricing strategy and market analysis expertise.
• Ability to translate data into actionable procurement recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing strategies across major procurement categories.
• Provide robust market intelligence and cost analysis for sourcing decisions.
• Improve cost forecasting by integrating procurement insights into planning processes.
• Lead development of risk management and forecasting for raw materials and FX exposure.
• Design AI-enabled pricing tools and should-cost models for cost transparency.
• Support tendering activities with pricing insights and analytics.
• Advise procurement teams and stakeholders balancing customer outcomes and financial targets.
