Job summary

IFS, a global software leader, seeks a Director, Global Accounting AI Transformation to lead end-to-end AI-enabled transformation across the Global Accounting function, spanning consolidation, R2R, tax, and revenue recognition.

You will partner closely with Global Accounting leadership, IT, and the AI Business Unit to embed AI into core accounting processes, ensuring improved efficiency, stronger controls, audit readiness, and scalable workflows.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with global accounting leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-region finance transformation programmes.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, SOX and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Define and own AI transformation roadmap across R2R, consolidation, tax and revenue recognition.
• Redesign core accounting processes to AI-first workflows (close, reconciliations, tax filings).
• Move to end-to-end workflow transformation with AI agents and automation.
• Embed AI into close, consolidation, tax, reporting and revenue processes.
• Ensure alignment with accounting controls, audit requirements and compliance.
