Job summary

Referment is rebuilding its engineering organisation around an AI-assisted workflow. You will own features end to end across the full SDLC, delivering production-ready software in a regulated fintech environment.

You will contribute across Ruby, Node and Go, with frontend work in modern frameworks, on a polyglot stack within a large monolith on AWS. AI tooling is core to how you build, review and QA software, with an emphasis on secure, auditable delivery.

Qualifications

• Full-SDLC experience with delivery of features from concept to production.
• Experience shaping AI-assisted development workflows and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end across the full SDLC: design, build, test, deploy and support.
• Contribute confidently across Ruby, Node and Go, with frontend work in modern frameworks and web technologies.
• Use AI tooling as a core part of how you build, review and QA software, and help raise the team's AI-assisted delivery practices.
• Stay productive in a large, complex monolith and use AI-assisted refactoring to improve it over time.
• Improve codebase documentation and structure so AI code assistants can be guided effectively.
• Convert product specifications into precise engineering specifications for AI delivery.
• Deliver within a regulated SDLC with change management, approvals, testing evidence and audit trails.
