Job summary

Relay Technologies is building a finance function from the ground up to power a fast-growing, AI-native business. You will design core finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A), deploy AI across workflows, and shape the operating model to enable near-instant insight and decision-making.

You’ll work directly with the CFO and founders, translating finance logic into production systems. Expect a hands-on, 0-to-1 build role with leverage on company velocity, collaborating with engineering and data

Qualifications

• Built or redesigned finance systems end-to-end in high-growth environments.
• Deployed automation or AI in real finance workflows.
• Fluent in FP&A, R2R, and operational data partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Design the finance function from first principles for an AI-native, high-growth company.
• Deploy AI across high-leverage workflows including forecasting, reporting, close and reconciliation.
• Build and own the technical stack with modular, API-friendly architecture.
• Translate finance logic into production systems in a hands-on, cross-functional role.
• Redesign the operating model to leverage augmentation by AI.
• Deliver real-time, high-quality financial insights to leadership.
