Job summary

MissionAirspeed is seeking a strategic Finance & Ops leader to own budgeting, forecasting, cash planning, and board reporting. You will build scalable operating systems, manage AR/AP, payroll, and vendor relations, and drive AI-native workflows across finance and operations.

You will partner across Finance, Sales, Product, and Engineering in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment, shaping the company’s financial trajectory and fundraising readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance, ops, or combined roles at scaling B2B SaaS/tech.
• Own planning, forecasting, cash, runway, and board materials.
• Build operating systems and data architecture across systems.
• Strong data and spreadsheet skills; connect information across sources.
• AI-native working style with automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own budget, rolling forecast, cash, runway, and scenario planning for leadership.
• Oversee monthly close with external accounting partners and board reporting.
• Develop trusted view of ARR, bookings, retention, margins, burn, and unit economics.
• Manage billing, collections, payroll coordination, expenses, procurement, and vendor processes.
• Create self-serve workflows with AI-enabled automation and clean data governance.
