Job summary

The Economist Group is hiring an AI Transformation Lead for Editorial in London, joining the AI Transformation Programme. You will partner with Editorial, EIU, Enterprise Sales and central functions to identify high-impact AI opportunities and shape practical, scalable solutions.

You will lead rapid prototyping, collaborate with product, engineering and business teams, and drive adoption of AI-enabled workflows while keeping journalism fundamentally human.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of transformation, consulting, product, operations, business analysis, technology delivery or similar cross-functional roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and prioritise AI opportunities within Editorial and adjacent teams.
• Reimagine editorial workflows and define high-value use cases.
• Build prototypes, models, and AI agents to test with users quickly.
• Lead productionisation of successful AI solutions and drive adoption.
• Report progress and benefits to senior stakeholders and refine initiatives.
