Job summary

Entain Group, a leading global sports betting and gaming company, seeks a Portfolio Lead to orchestrate 4–6 pods across Engineering, Quality, and Product. You will blend hands‑on delivery leadership with AI‑augmented practices to drive value and reduce waste.

You will partner with engineering and product leadership to improve throughput, autonomy, accountability, and alignment to business outcomes. This role emphasizes data‑led decisions and scalable delivery across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in delivery/agile roles with multi‑team scope
• Expert in flow‑based delivery (Kanban/lean, not limited to Scrum)
• Experience enabling multiple teams/pods at scale
• Strong understanding of AI tooling and its application to software delivery
• Experience in capacity planning, demand forecasting and resource optimisation
• Use data to solve complex problems and communicate clearly
• Experience in organisational transformation and change management
• Good knowledge of OKR strategy
• Experience in regulated industries (gaming/fintech) desirable

Responsibilities

• Pod Performance: own delivery health, risks and performance
• Coach pod leads with facilitation and conflict resolution
• Ensure cross‑pod priorities and shared goals are agreed
• Facilitate collaboration to promote knowledge sharing
• AI‑Augmented Delivery: drive AI tooling adoption across pods
• Flow & Efficiency: monitor lead/cycle times, WIP, throughput
• Agile Ways of Working: evolve the operating model for pod teams
• Metrics & Reporting: define dashboards and interpret trends
• Stakeholder Management: report health to leadership and connect decisions to value
