Job summary

Oscar is seeking an experienced Software Developer to help bring AI into daily operations by building intelligent applications and bespoke software solutions. You will own projects from concept to deployment and work on AI-powered features that solve real business problems.

The role covers backend development, APIs, data integration and architecture decisions, with opportunities to experiment with emerging AI tools and build end-to-end solutions that scale as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Strong software development background with Python in backend systems.
• Experience integrating AI models and LLMs into production apps.
• Experience building REST APIs and external data sources.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable applications and make technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend software with system integrations.
• Build AI-powered features using LLMs and document processing.
• Develop RAG pipelines connecting LLMs to internal data.
• Build and integrate APIs to connect apps, databases and CRMs.
• Own projects from requirements through testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into solutions.
• Improve reliability, performance and scalability of apps.
• Explore new AI tools to add real business value.
