Job summary

RES is building a global, cloud-first data and AI capability. We seek a Data Analytics and AI Lead to own analytics and AI product delivery, turning data into trusted, governed insights for senior leaders.

You will develop models, write Python and SQL, apply ML and generative AI to business questions, and deliver automation on modern cloud platforms. 10+ years of hands-on analytics experience is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in data science, data analytics, computer science.
• Hands-on experience delivering extensive reporting, modelling and analytics across complex data domains.
• 10+ years' experience as a technical analyst delivering analytics and AI solutions with impact.
• Strong Python, modelling and SQL skills.
• Proven experience delivering semantic and dimensional data models.
• Extensive experience with the Microsoft Azure platform for reporting, data development and analytics.
• Experience applying ML and/or generative AI tools to business problems.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality, and responsible AI principles.
• Experience translating complex data to executives and leading working groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reporting, data modelling and advanced analytics across complex business domains.
• Apply machine learning to real business problems: predictive modelling, classification, segmentation, anomaly detection, forecasting.
• Use LLMs and generative AI to build analytical tools and AI-enabled insights, including prompt engineering and RAG.
• Translate findings into clear, business-ready insights for senior audiences.
• Develop comprehensive semantic data models and BI solutions for AI consumption.
• Deliver automation opportunities using Power Platform, Power Automate, or equivalents.
• Use Python and SQL to clean, model, and analyse data and provide governed self-service analytics.
• Lead UAT and business validation for analytics outputs and AI products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to shape analytical approaches and present to executives.
