AI Developer - Travel
Salary: Circa £35,000 - £45,000

We are seeking an AI Developer to join our team and drive innovation in Aviva’s Travel insurance offerings. Whether you are newly qualified in AI or have previous experience in a related role and are excited to deliver impactful projects, we would love to hear from you!
About the role:
Deploy and monitor AI and GenAI solutions within the Data and Analytics team.
Support the operations team with Aviva’s Travel insurance offerings.
Contribute to Aviva’s overall GenAI Copilot strategy to enable data-driven decisions for better customer outcomes.
Collaborate with Quantum to share expertise, foster continuous learning, and re-use best practices.
Skills and experience required:
Proficiency in the latest GenAI practices, such as prompt engineering and RAG systems, with awareness of emerging technologies like Agentic AI.
Experience in integrating services via Python-based pipelines, including package creation and developing user application interfaces.
Knowledge of Kubernetes infrastructure, Docker containerization, and deployment using Azure DevOps pipelines.
Basic understanding of Travel insurance products.
Experience or willingness to learn the Software Development Lifecycle, including configuration management and GIT workflows, and translating stakeholder requirements into GenAI solutions.

Starting salary between Circa £35,000 - £45,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
