Job summary

Leonardo UK Engineering seeks engineers to deploy AI-enabled tooling within Integrated Project Teams on short engagements, impacting requirements, architecture, modelling and design. You’ll work with the AI platform team to guide architecture and expand the team’s capability.

You’ll build applications and templates to support engineering modelling and simulation tooling, becoming the expert user and helping the IPTs become more capable over time.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with large language and intelligent systems applied to engineering.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Python scripting and automation.
• Ability to think in system-level terms across programmes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy into projects to scope and solve high-value engineering problems with AI tooling.
• Collaborate with AI platform and IPT stakeholders to influence architecture and design.
• Build workflows and templates to enable development and modelling tooling.
• Become the team expert user of the platform tooling.
• Upskill IPT engineers to raise overall capability.
