Job summary

AI Delivery Consultant Presales & Project Management – Day-rate contract – Onshore UK – Immediate start

The role

We build bespoke AI solutions for enterprise clients. Most of our build team is offshore. We need an onshore consultant in the room with the client: someone who can shape the solution in presales, then run the delivery once it is won. This is a hybrid role. You sell the work with us and you deliver it. You front the client, you keep the build honest, and you make sure what we ship matches what we promised.

The engagement

• UK-based, client-facing. You will spend time on site and in client meetings, mostly London and the South East.
• Day rate, negotiable on experience. Statement‑of‑work basis where possible. IR35 status set per engagement and agreed before we start.
• Initial three months with a view to extend. The pipeline is real and growing.
• You run your own limited company and carry your own insurance.

What you will do

Presales:

• Sit in client discovery and scoping sessions. Translate a business problem into a solution we can build.
• Shape proposals, statements of work and commercial framing alongside the sales team.
• Demo the work. Answer the technical questions in the room and hold your own with senior client stakeholders.

Delivery and project management:

• Own the delivery plan once a project is won. Set the cadence, track the risk, keep the client informed.
• Bridge the client and the offshore build team. Turn client feedback into clear instructions and clear instructions into shipped work.
• Keep scope, timeline and quality in line. Flag problems early, not late.

What we need

• Ten years plus delivering technology into enterprise clients. You have run projects that mattered and fronted rooms that mattered.
• Real, recent AI delivery. You have shipped generative or agentic AI work in the last eighteen months, not just talked about it.
• Both muscles. You can win the work in presales and run the delivery afterwards. Most people do one. We need someone who does both.
• Client presence. You are credible in front of senior stakeholders and comfortable carrying a commercial conversation.
• Contractor discipline. You run clean, you invoice clean, and you understand IR35.

A plus, not a must

• Delivery into a major UK aviation or travel brand, or comparable regulated enterprise. Our flagship engagement is in that space and you would walk in without a learning curve.
• Experience working with an offshore build team and making that model work.

Onshore front, offshore build. You are the face and the hands‑on delivery lead here. The build capacity sits offshore and works to your plan. The model works when the onshore lead is strong. That is the job.
