Job summary

Addition Solutions in London is seeking an AI Adoption Consultant to drive practical AI adoption across teams. You’ll train, coach, and build reusable prompts, workflows and templates while measuring impact and enabling client delivery as the role grows.

You’ll collaborate with an AI Product and Delivery Lead, travel regularly within the UK, and work in a hybrid setup to embed AI into day-to-day workflows with tangible outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least two years in consulting, transformation, enablement, customer success, operations, learning & development or tech implementation.
• Experience using generative AI in real work with concrete examples.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills for varied levels of experience.
• Ability to quickly map a workflow and identify time/effort sinks.
• Hands-on approach to implementing and testing improvements.
• Willingness to measure and report results honestly, even when outcomes aren’t as expected.

AI Adoption Consultant

Permanent | £65,000–£80,000

Location: London | Hybrid (2 days in the office, 3 remote)

Travel: Regular travel to other UK offices and client sites

We’re partnering with an organisation to appoint an AI Adoption Consultant who can turn investment in AI into lasting changes in how people work.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working directly with teams: understanding their day‑to‑day workflows, identifying where AI can genuinely help, and building practical tools and habits that people continue to use. You’ll work closely with an AI Product and Delivery Lead and have the opportunity to contribute to selected client projects as the role develops.

The Opportunity

You’ll help teams move beyond introductory training and put AI to use in real workflows. That means spending time with colleagues at different levels of experience, from those building their own agents to those opening an AI tool for the first time.

You’ll initially work on identified problems, with scope to lead workflow discovery independently as you settle into the role. Your impact will be measured through adoption, the use of shared assets and evidenced improvements to how work gets done.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play a central role in making AI adoption practical and sustainable by:

• Discovering how teams actually work and identifying opportunities to remove effort from specific workflows.
• Delivering hands‑on training and one‑to‑one coaching tailored to different levels of AI experience.
• Creating reusable prompts, Claude skills, workflows and templates that colleagues can adopt.
• Maintaining the day‑to‑day content of a shared knowledge base and skills library, in line with standards set by the AI Product and Delivery Lead.
• Building a network of AI champions who can support continued adoption within their teams.
• Establishing baselines and measuring active tool use, shared asset adoption and time saved in named workflows.
• Supporting selected client delivery as the role develops.

About You

You’ll have at least two years of experience in consulting, transformation, enablement, customer success, operations, learning and development, or technology implementation. You’ll also bring:

• Extensive practical experience using generative AI in your own work, with examples you can talk through in detail.
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills, including the ability to engage both enthusiastic and sceptical colleagues.
• The ability to understand a workflow quickly and identify where time and effort are being spent.
• A genuine interest in people, their work and what helps new ways of working stick.
• A hands‑on approach to implementation and the confidence to test, adapt and improve what you build.
• A willingness to measure results honestly, including when an approach has not worked.

Experience building lightweight workflows or prototypes, or using Claude Code, Claude skills, agents, APIs, MCP or Git, would be useful but is not essential.
