Job summary

Brunswick is expanding its AI Lab and seeking a Data Architect to shape the data foundations for proprietary AI products. The role spans architecture and delivery, ensuring scalable, secure data platforms while aligning with Brunswick’s technology environment.

You will collaborate with AI Engineers, Infrastructure, Security and Data teams to create reusable patterns and drive rapid yet responsible innovation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data or solution architecture or related technical roles.
• Experience designing scalable data and application architectures, preferably in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, lineage and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve data and technical architecture underpinning the AI Lab portfolio of proprietary products.
• Define scalable patterns for how applications, data sources, models, APIs and enterprise systems connect and interact.
• Design data modelling, access, storage, movement and governance for sensitive or critical information.
• Identify opportunities to create reusable services and data capabilities that accelerate development.
• Establish standards for data pipelines, APIs, integration, environments, deployment and observability.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate architectural principles into practical solutions balancing scalability and speed.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security, Data and other teams to meet security, governance and architectural standards.
• Identify opportunities to simplify the data landscape and improve interoperability across the firm.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen the Lab’s platform and capabilities.
• Help build scalable data foundations to develop and deploy AI responsibly and securely.
