Job summary

Brunswick Group is seeking a Data Architect to join our AI Lab in London, shaping the data foundations for proprietary AI products. You will balance architecture with practical delivery, collaborating across AI Engineers, Infrastructure, Security, Data and other tech teams.

You’ll bring 6+ years in data/solution architecture or related roles, strong cloud experience (Azure preferred), and hands-on depth to guide designs while enabling rapid prototyping and secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in data architecture, solution architecture, data engineering or related technical roles.
• Strong experience designing scalable data and application architectures in cloud environments.
• Experience designing data models, APIs, integrations and data flows across databases, SaaS apps and enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architecture including ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, lakes/lakehouses and governance.
• Hands-on depth to review designs and contribute to implementation with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the data and technical architecture underpinning the AI Lab’s portfolio of proprietary products.
• Define scalable patterns for how applications, data sources, models, APIs and enterprise systems connect.
• Design data modelling, access, storage, movement and governance approaches for sensitive information.
• Identify opportunities to create reusable services and data capabilities across products.
• Establish standards for data pipelines, APIs, environments, deployment and observability.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate architecture into practical solutions with scalable delivery.
• Partner with Infrastructure, Security and Data teams to meet security and governance standards.
• Identify opportunities to simplify the data landscape and improve interoperability across Brunswick.
