Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking an AI Controls Enablement Lead to guide a team of controls professionals with deep AI expertise. The role involves translating AI behavior into actionable risk findings and co-developing scalable automated controls for asset and wealth management.

You will collaborate with Control Managers, Technology, and the business to define outcomes, run risk reviews, and publish quarterly reports. A strong leadership and stakeholder-management background is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk or control management within financial services, focusing on compliance and operational risk mitigation.
• Understanding of AI models, their assumptions, limitations, and failure modes.
• Ability to translate complex, technical AI behavior into documented, escalatable risk findings within a controls framework.
• Capability to implement robust controls to safeguard business operations and meet regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI tools with Citizen Developers and Technology, optimizing control frameworks and assisting business to solve problems before deployment.
• Choose appropriate tools to solve business problems in cost-effective manner across AI and automation technologies to prototype and scale automated controls.
• Run scenario simulations and red-team exercises; establish best practices for review and deployment of AI tools.
• Lead the AI Controls Council and produce the quarterly AI Controls Intelligence Report for senior leadership.
• Define measurable outcomes for the team and share best practices.
