Job summary

Luffy AI is seeking an enthusiastic AI Control Engineer to apply novel AI approaches to real-world environments, building AI controllers for industrial customers. The role spans mechatronics, control engineering, robotics, and software, and involves interfacing between software and hardware—from wiring a controller to writing strong software.

You will characterise motors, drones and furnaces, contribute to digital twin models and AI controllers, and help shape the direction of a growing startup

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or science (control/ electrical / mechatronics).
• Experience with industrial control systems (PLCs, VFDs).
• Good programming skills in Python and familiarity with C.
• Ability to learn quickly and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Perform system identification and characterisation with digital twins.
• Develop demo suites and test rigs for customers.
• Integrate systems and conduct field testing at customer sites.
• Develop and enhance control software for real-world use.
• Contribute to digital twin models and AI controllers.
