Job summary

Heriot-Watt University is seeking a part-time Project Coordinator for the LocalTech Project: AI skills development in construction. You will coordinate industry stakeholder activities, promote knowledge exchange and assist with curriculum co-design and project monitoring.

The role requires a degree in business or project management and strong organisational and communication skills. Fixed-term for 24 months at 0.2 FTE.

Qualifications

• A degree in business, project management or equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating projects, meetings or stakeholder-engagement activities.
• Experience working with external stakeholders such as employers, industry partners or professional organisations.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including agendas and minutes.

Responsibilities

• Organise quarterly Industry Stakeholder Steering Group meetings with agendas and papers.
• Coordinate employer workshops, consultations and co-design sessions.
• Maintain communication with GA employer network and expand participation.
• Liaise with GA Business Development, industry partners and university teams.
• Gather feedback on sector needs and curriculum development.
• Support evaluation of curriculum and CRAFT toolkit with data.
• Maintain records of engagement and project milestones.
• Develop communications to strengthen employer participation and project visibility.
• Prepare updates, reports and dissemination materials.
• Coordinate day-to-day administration under the Project Lead.
