Job summary

EIS, part of Commercial Services Group, is hiring a Customer Technology and AI Consultant to help education and public sector organisations navigate Microsoft 365, Copilot, cloud and modern workplace tech. You will lead discovery, assessments and deliver practical recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You will also shape consultancy services, support sales cycles and build strong customer relationships while visiting sites and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Solutions/Pre-Sales/Technology Consultant or similar.
• Broad knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud technology and modern workplace solutions.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Generative AI and practical AI use cases.
• Experience leading customer workshops, discovery sessions, presentations or technology assessments.
• Understanding of network environments including devices, users, wireless networking and connectivity.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activity, bids, proposals or solution development.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery meetings, workshops and technology assessments.
• Complete cloud, AI, network infrastructure, cyber security and Microsoft 365 assessments.
• Visit schools and customer sites to review technology environments.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical recommendations.
• Prepare reports, proposals, presentations and Statements of Work.
• Support Account Managers during the sales lifecycle and contribute to tenders and bids.
• Collaborate with sales, architecture and delivery teams to shape solutions.
