Job summary

Mercor partners with a leading AI research organization to recruit experienced investment banking professionals. You will define what excellent work looks like by designing task-specific grading criteria and scoring completed work samples with rigorous, well-reasoned written justifications.

You will evaluate AI-generated and human deliverables, applying consistent judgment and ensuring reproducible results. Prior experience with AI training or human-data projects is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional investment banking experience (associate level or above).
• Expertise in three-statement modeling, valuation methods, and deal processes.
• Ability to explain why a piece of work meets or misses the bar.

Responsibilities

• Design precise, task-specific grading criteria for real-world banking deliverables.
• Score AI-generated and human samples with detailed written justifications.
• Apply evidence-based judgment to ensure scores are reproducible and defensible.
• Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers and iterate quickly.
