Job summary

Thirteen Group is seeking an AI and Automation Specialist to drive our AI strategy within IT, shaping how AI is used across the organisation and ensuring AI-ready systems and data foundations.

You will work with Data Services, BI and AI specialists to deliver generative AI, intelligent automation and digital workplace solutions, aligned with our governance framework and technology structure. The role is hybrid, with two days in our Hudson Quay office in Middlesbrough.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering AI and LLM solutions with Azure AI Foundry and prompt engineering.
• Experience designing, implementing and managing Microsoft 365 and Copilot-enabled services.
• Track record of delivering automation and digital solutions with measurable value.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer Associate) and solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Enable AI-driven workplace services by designing, developing and supporting AI-powered tools across Microsoft 365 services, including Copilot, Power Platform and Azure AI services.
• Collaborate with Data Services, technology teams and colleagues across the business to ensure our systems, enterprise applications and data foundations are AI-ready.
• Build and implement AI solutions, including copilots, agents, AI workflows and business solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft technologies.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve productivity, reduce manual effort and deliver better outcomes for our customers.
• Establish standards, controls and governance to ensure AI solutions are secure, effective and used responsibly across Thirteen.
• Produce clear documentation and support the smooth transition of solutions into day-to-day operational use.
