QA is seeking a motivated AI & Automation Specialist Apprentice to join the team in Farnborough. You will work toward a Level 4 AI & Automation Specialist Apprenticeship while gaining practical experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, and data-driven decision making.

The role involves identifying automation opportunities, assisting with AI solution design and testing, and helping to build no-code/low-code workflows across departments.

Qualifications

• Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent work experience.
• GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4/C or higher).
• Interest in AI, automation and digital technologies.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilités

About the role:

We are looking for a motivated and innovative AI & Automation Specialist Apprentice to join us here at Tecna. This is an exciting opportunity to develop practical skills in artificial intelligence, business process automation, digital transformation, and data-driven decision making while studying towards a Level 4 AI & Automation Specialist Apprenticeship qualification. The programme focuses on identifying opportunities for automation, implementing AI-powered solutions, and supporting the responsible adoption of emerging technologies across the business.

The successful candidate will work closely with various departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support digital innovation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Identify repetitive business processes and recommend opportunities for automation

• Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of AI and automation solutions

• Support the creation of automated workflows using no-code and low-code platforms

• Analyse business requirements and map existing processes to identify efficiency improvements

• Use AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, reporting, and decision making

• Support the integration of software systems and digital tools across the organisation

• Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives

• Promote responsible and ethical AI practices in line with company policies and industry standards

• Create process documentation, user guides, and training materials

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and support the successful adoption of new technologies

• Participate in continuous improvement projects and contribute ideas for innovation

• Maintain awareness of emerging AI and automation technologies and industry best practices

Desirable experience:

• Experience using Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or other AI tools

• Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, Zapier, Make, or other workflow automation platforms

• Understanding of business processes and process improvement methodologies

• Basic knowledge of data analysis or reporting tools

Entry requirements:

• Level 3 Qualification (Apprenticeship/A Levels/BTEC etc.)

• OR equivalent work experience (typically 2 years in a relevant role)
  AND

• 5 x GCSE’s including English & Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above

Working hours: 40 hours per week
