MTRX Media in Birmingham is hiring for an in-person scriptwriter to craft compelling video ads for e-commerce brands. You’ll write two to three scripts weekly at first, then scale as you learn the process, with feedback from editors and the team guiding improvements.

No advertising experience is required; you’ll receive direct mentorship and training in direct response copywriting and AI production tools. Salary grows with results.

Qualifications

• Enjoy writing and solving the puzzle of phrasing.
• Organised with own deadlines and follow-through.
• Able to handle feedback without taking it personally.
• No prior advertising experience required.

Responsibilities

• Write scripts for video ads such as testimonials or claims.
• Review editor-cut ads and rewrite scripts based on feedback.
• Start at ~10 scripts per week; grow as you settle in.
• Work with the creative strategy team to refine ideas.
• Keep track of deadlines and deliver on time.
