AHU Commissioning Engineer

Our client, a successful HVAC company operating across 65 countries for over 100 years, is seeking AHU Commissioning Engineers to support their regional portfolio, including technical and engineering needs. Due to expansion across the UK, they are looking for an engineer to join their team, primarily in London, carrying out technical support, commissioning, and diagnostic work on various contracts such as banks, insurance companies, data centres, and gyms.

Responsibilities

• Technical support, commissioning, and diagnostics on AHU and controls systems
• Providing technical support to clients and engineers
• Ensuring health and safety compliance and coordinating with the project delivery team
• Liaising with planners and maintaining site cleanliness
• Managing critical spares lists

Position Requirements

• Understanding of HVAC/AHU equipment
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, HVAC control software
• City and Guilds 2079 or NVQ 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to pass or hold a DBS and security clearance

Remuneration and Benefits

• Salary: £45-60k based on experience
• 50-hour contract; 10 hours paid travel, 40 hours site work
• Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours outside 50; weekends and bank holidays at 2x
• Company van (personal use to be discussed)
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with option to purchase up to 5 additional days
• Call-out pay: £150 standby, plus overtime and travel pay
