Skyedia Ltd is seeking an experienced Maternity Sales Specialist in the UK to drive demand for a pharmaceutical product within hospitals, GP networks, and NHS stakeholders. You will work with sales, clinical and marketing teams to grow product adoption.

The role requires a proven track record in maternity sales or a clinical background in maternity, plus a full UK driving license. A life-science degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with maternity products or a clinical maternity background.
• Full, clean UK driving license.
• Degree in life science or healthcare subject.
• Medical Industry accreditation desirable.
• Strong MS Office skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Proven maternity sales track record.

Responsibilities

• Create hospital-level business plans identifying key stakeholders.
• Deliver maternity sales and GP budget targets.
• Promote in Maternity environment and drive incremental sales.
• Develop relationships with Portfolio Marketing Manager and stakeholders.
• Attend training to grow product advocacy clinically and commercially.
• Build relationships with Hospitals, Clinicians and NHS stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Manager to understand UK market.
• Provide training to staff and nurses for trials and utilization.
• Maintain detailed CRM activity records.
• Present clinical/commercial updates at company meetings.

Job description

Our global medical devices client is looking for an experienced Maternity Sales Specialist with a clinical or sales background in maternity. This role will work with current Sales, clinical and marketing team in growing products. You will be responsible for introducing and generating demand for this pharmaceutical product with all relevant stakeholders within the industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating hospital level business plans to identify key stakeholders and drive incremental medical sales through a combination of commercial meetings and in-field visits.
• Delivering the Maternity sales and GP budget.
• Spending time in Maternity environment promoting and driving incremental sales
• Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with the
• Portfolio Marketing Manager, including regular commercial meetings and updates.
• Attending regular Principal training to develop knowledge and growing your product advocacy both clinically and commercially.
• Building strong relationships with Hospitals, Clinicians, and other key stakeholder groups.
• Working in collaboration with the Product Manager and Nurse Clinical specialist(s) to provide a detailed understanding of the UK market
• Delivering training to practice staff and nurses to support clinical trials and product utilization.
• Creating detailed records of all contacts and activities in a CRM
• Regularly attending and presenting clinical and commercial updates at internal company meetings.
• Monitoring clinical activity such as procedure volumes
• Keeping up to date with new developments in the NHS, anticipate potential negative and positive impacts on the business and adapt strategy accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS

• Either proven sales experience with maternity products or a clinical background in maternity and wanting to develop a career in sales.
• A full, clean UK driving license
• A degree (or equivalent) in a life science or healthcare subject
• Local industry accreditation Medical Industry Accreditation or a willingness to take and pass
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
