Job summary

Itecopeople is seeking a Software Engineer / Software Developer to join an early-stage AgriTech SaaS startup. The role focuses on building and evolving a farm management platform, with emphasis on core product development and customer-specific tailoring.

You'll work across SaaS, mobile, middleware and IoT integrations, contributing to technical direction while shaping product and code quality in a collaborative on-site (with hybrid options) team.

Qualifications

• Experience with PHP and Laravel in SaaS environments.
• Strong PostgreSQL/SQL knowledge and data modeling skills.
• Front-end experience with React or modern JS frameworks.
• Experience building and consuming web services and APIs.
• Familiarity with Ubuntu/Linux environments and server-side scripting.
• Interest or experience with IoT integrations and middleware is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing new functionality for the core SaaS product.
• Enhancing and maintaining the existing application.
• Tailoring implementations for individual customer requirements.
• Developing and working with web services and APIs.
• Supporting integrations between platform, mobile app and IoT devices.
• Working with middleware and data integrations.
• Contributing ideas to the technical direction and future development of the product.
