The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in Aberdeen is hiring an Agricultural Tech Developer to design and build software for precision agriculture systems, from sensor data pipelines to farmer dashboards. You’ll work with IoT devices and field sensors at scale.
Join a team that connects farm machinery, satellite imagery and data platforms, develops APIs, troubleshoots live sites, and collaborates with agronomists to turn field requirements into reliable software.
Step into this Agricultural Technology Developer role and build something that matters in AgriTech.
UK farming is under pressure to produce more with less land, less labour and tighter margins, and the technology behind that shift is being built right now. This business is an established name in AgriTech, the kind of enterprise operation that runs large-scale projects rather than one-off pilots. Based in Aberdeen, it sits close to some of the country's most productive agricultural land and a growing cluster of precision farming expertise.

Food production has to change, and software is a big part of how it changes. AgriTech is one of the few sectors where a developer’s code has a direct line to something as basic as what ends up on a plate. Aberdeen’s position near major agricultural regions, combined with its engineering talent pool, makes it a genuinely sensible base for anyone serious about building a long-term career in this space.
