Job summary

Agricar Ltd in Cupar is seeking an Agricultural Service Technician to join our busy depot. You will diagnose, repair and service a wide range of agricultural machinery in the workshop and on customer sites, ensuring high standards of service for our customers.

You will work with the service team, using diagnostic IT systems, GPS awareness, and mentoring apprentices. A full UK driving licence and proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• You must have strong knowledge of modern agricultural machinery and GPS technology.
• Proactive, conscientious attitude with good time management.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and IT systems is preferred.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostics, repairs and servicing on agricultural machinery in workshop and on customer sites.
• Provide technical support to the service team and maintain high service standards.
• Mentor apprentices when required and uphold company appearance and conduct standards.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a wide range of agricultural machinery both in the workshop and out on customer sites. You’ll work closely with our existing service team, providing technical support and maintaining the high standard of service our customers expect from Agricar, New Holland and Case IH.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong knowledge of modern agricultural machinery, technologies, and farming practices, including GPS
• A proactive and conscientious attitude to work
• A strong agricultural background (ideal but not essential)
• Good time management and organisational skills
• The ability to multi-task and work well as part of a team
• A commitment to upholding company standards in appearance and conduct
• The confidence to support and mentor apprentices when required
• Experience using diagnostic and IT systems
• A full UK driving licence
