Job summary

Agricultural, Rural & Property Solicitor with NQ to 3 PQE is sought for Salisbury in a leading UK Top 150 firm. The role covers a broad mix of land, rural and commercial property matters for landowners, farming businesses and estates, with genuine scope for career development.

The team handles day-to-day agricultural property through to complex development and strategic land projects, offering a chance to build a long-term specialism in a growing sector and to work with experienced lawyers.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with up to 3 years’ PQE in property
• Experience in commercial, agricultural or rural property is preferred
• Ability to draft precisely and handle complex property work

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and acquisitions of agricultural, rural and commercial land
• Manage farm/estate acquisitions and disposals
• Draft and negotiate leases, options, development agreements
• Support strategic land transactions and overage arrangements
• Advise on easements, covenants and other land rights
• Assist with farming business property matters and succession planning
• Contribute to high-value property asset refinancing
• Engage in general commercial property matters
