Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is assisting a respected South West law firm in Exeter to recruit a Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Practitioner with 2-5 years PQE in agricultural or rural property law. This role focuses on sales and purchases of farmland, tenancies, easements, and advising farmers and rural businesses.

The role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 to £65,000 DOE, flexible working arrangements (full or part-time), and a supportive, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years PQE in agricultural or rural property law (or strong interest in developing expertise in this area)
• Strong technical and drafting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Confidence in managing matters independently
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Motivation, organisation, and a proactive mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
• Willingness to attend client meetings and external events
